「安娜的床上之島」不同於一般沉悶艱澀的藝術電影，原名為「Caótica Ana混亂的安娜」的西班牙電影，溶合夢、催眠、前世今生、女性主義及臆測不到的因果…等引人元素，此片絕無冷場，令人驚訝的好看。
導演是西班牙重量級響譽國際的，擁有醫學學位且差點就獲選為奧運田徑選手的Julio Medem胡立歐．麥登。該片是為了紀念他已逝世的妹妹「安娜」拍攝的，電影中女主角就叫Ana。更須一提的是，影片中所展現的所有插畫，皆為Ana本人所繪。
